Are these hunts suitable for kids?
Our Jr. Code Crackers Hunts are designed specifically for kids ages 8 - 11. Located in some of our region's favorite parks, the Junior Hunts can be kid-led and done with family, friends, or solo.
Our Group Hunts were created for brainy people and are definitely suitable for older kids, maybe 12 and up.
Younger kids can participate in Group Hunts and enjoy spotting the clues, exploring the neighborhoods and playing in the parks (all Group Hunts include at least one park).
How challenging are the hunts?
The most important skills needed for these hunts are curiosity and patience.
The bonus puzzles are typically more challenging than the other puzzles, and hints are available for some of them.
How long do the hunts take?
Each puzzle series (a group of puzzles in the same neighborhood or area) takes around 30-45 minutes.
Many of the hunts include several puzzle series, but they do not have to be done all on the same day. Work on them when you have time and spread out the fun!

The solution to each puzzle is in the form of a joke.
The sTTTol
Every hunt has unique elements, but typically you find the clue locations (murals, statues or buildings) and answer the questions.
You use all your answers to decode the missing words in the joke. You'll enter the decoded word on our website to unlock the punchline.
